​With only 5 years of existence, the Café de São Bento had already won the 1st Place in the specialty Meat of the now-defunct journal “The Capital”, and was by the Vox populi considered to be “the best steak in Lisbon”.

Even today, the Café de São Bento continues to be in the news frequently seen in newspapers and magazines, both national and international, as well as in the restaurant Guides the most prestigious, having in 2007 was considered by TIME OUT magazine the BEST STEAK OF LISBON.
